Identify
wires namely Incoming Live wire, wire to Light 1 & Light 2 (where applicable)
in the wall switch enclosure.
Insert
and secure Incoming Live wire to LIVE-IN terminal, Light 1 wire to Load
1 and Light 2 wire to Load 2 terminal of the JDO switch respectively.
Set
Remote Control Channel selector (located at the back of the switch)
to the desired channels. The factory default RC channel setting for Load
1 and Load 2 is channel 1 & 2 respectively. The RC channels correspond
to the green coloured buttons on the Remote control transmitter.
If you
are using fluorescent light, for best performance, the glow-tube starter
should be replaced with the starter (A10) provided.
For
lighting load that exceeds the specification, the switch can be installed
with an AC relay .
Important note for Dual Gang & Three Gang!
The power supply for the electronics is derived form Load
1 circuit;therefore light bulb for Load 1 must be in place for both
switches to operate normally. This means that if Load 1 bulb blows or
is removed, Load 2 and Load 3 will not operate, however, if Load 2 or
Load 3 bulb blows, Load 1 will still operate normally.
Precaution!
If the lighting load consists high value capacitor (total
>15 uF), e.g.in multiple fluorescent amps, the fuse or circuit breaker
may trip during power up.To avoid this problem, reduce or remove the
capacitor. This capacitor is for power factor correction. Removing it
will not affect operation of the switch or the light.
